WHAT IS PHYSICAL EDUCATION?
Planned, sequential, K-12 curriculum, designed to provide students with the knowledge, attitudes, skills, behaviors, and confidence to adopt and maintain life-long physical activity- CDC as defined in PECAT initiative
MY VISION...
My vision is that every student, when leaving Cupertino Middle School, will be proficient movers, demonstrate strong character, collaborate effectively with their peers, think critically, and become advocates for family and friends in promoting the value of a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, these students will have the ability to prescribe customized and individualized fitness programs that address their overall fitness and athletic goals that will ultimately lead to living healthier lives as adults.
