ASSESSMENT:

THROUGHOUT THE UNIT, YOU WILL BE LEARNING DIFFERENT SKILLS.  THESE SKILLS HAVE BEEN GROUPED ACCORDING TO A SKILLS (EASIEST) TO D SKILLS (MOST DIFFICULT AND CHALLENGING).  YOU WILL DESIGN AND PERFORM A ROUTINE AT THE END OF THE UNIT, COMBINING VARIOUS A, B, C AND D SKILLS IN YOUR ROUTINE.  YOUR ROUTINE WILL BE FILMED AND GRADED ON 3 CATEGORIES:

PHYSICAL EDUCATION STATE STANDARDS:

1.9 Combine relationships, levels, speed, direction, and pathways in complex individual and group physical activities.

1.11 Design and perform smooth, flowing sequences of stunts, tumbling, and rhythmic patterns that combine traveling, rolling, balancing, and transferring weight.

2.3 Analyze and correct errors in movement patterns.
