According to Webster's Dictionary juggling is, "...to keep several objects in motion in the air at the same time." Some jugglers will say it is the act of keeping more objects in the air than you have hands. 
	A more broad definition would be the skillful and/or novel manipulation of one or more objects. This is a more useful definition for educational purposes. Young children who are handling only one or two scarves often perform skillful manipulations for their stage of development, so why not call it juggling?
    You are required to print out this Juggling Packet and put it behind Tab #3 (Unit Materials) for the start of the Unit.  I will check your Sportfolio on the 1st day of the unit to make sure that you have it:

Juggling Performance Rubric
Juggling is a very difficult skill to learn and takes a ton of practice.  To give you a head start in the unit, it is important to that you watch these videos, which do a great job breaking down juggling into 3 simple steps.  For each step, watch the video clip and then practice.  The only equipment you will need are 3 small balls (tennis ball size or smaller) that are easy for you to catch and grip.
